"Know More" With Breast Cancer Canada

Sharing My Breast Cancer Story to Help Others: The "Know More" Campaign with Breast Cancer Canada

Breast cancer is often thought of as something that happens later in life, but the reality is that young women are also affected—sometimes when they least expect it. When I was given the opportunity to participate in the "Know More" campaign with Breast Cancer Canada, I knew it was a chance to share my story and advocate for greater awareness among young women.

This campaign was more than just a photoshoot; it was a powerful initiative to create a year’s worth of media content for social media, ad campaigns, and educational materials. Through interviews and images, we are working to break the silence and encourage young women to be proactive about their health, listen to their bodies, and seek medical advice when something feels off.

Sharing my experience isn’t just about my own journey—it’s about reaching other young women who may feel alone, afraid, or unaware of their risks. By speaking out, I hope to empower others to advocate for their health, push for answers, and support one another in the face of uncertainty.

Breast cancer awareness isn’t just for October; it’s a conversation that needs to happen all year long. The "Know More" campaign is a step toward making that happen, and I’m honored to be part of it.
