Hi, I’m NED

Well friends, it’s been a long while and I do apologize! Here is a much needed, and long overdo recap!

March

I had my popped expander replaced and honestly, it was super easy. No drains, extremely limited pain (thanks nerve damage) and I was able to get a few fills before radiation started.

While I recovered from that surgery, I had my post surgery scans, and got all my surgical pathology back. And let me just say, nothing brings you to your knees like knowing you arent going to die. My last set of scans, my biopsies, all confirmed the same thing…

NO EVIDENCE OF DISEASE

Just take a pause and bask in that a little more… I freaking beat it. With medical help, with the unending support and love of my family and our friends, we literally took a super aggressive breast cancer and beat it into oblivion. I am honestly so humbled and overjoyed by this second chance at life I have.

If I’m being honest, I’m cocky enough that I never really considered the possibility of not beating it. But being able to plan for this big beautiful life without this hanging over my head has been such a relief!

Now I just need to put my head down, get radiation over with and move on with all the good stuff!
