Boobie Free since ‘23

I am alive, grateful and so ready to move on with this big beautiful life. Once healthy, I plan to start working more towards active advocacy for young women with breast cancer and cannot wait to see the changes I can make in women’s lives. Here’s hope I can spread some good.

It's officially been 1 year since my Double Mastectomy and 1 year with No Evidence of Disease (and not to brag, but last week, I was finally able to fully extend my arm and shoulder above my head💁‍♀️)

This week, I finished my last immunotherapy appointment and had my last regular oncology follow-up. From now on, I'll go every 6 months for the next 5 years. My last deflated expander will be removed on February 22, my port will come out then, and my right side will be closed up as flat as my left.

I'll get to continue building muscle, mobility, and flexibility. I'll get to keep picking up my kids, having adventures, and just getting back to living! ❤️

This year has been so full of trials, tribulations and joys. But this past year, we said goodbye to Stage 3 Metaplastic Breast Cancer! ✌️
